Jessy Defenderfer, Assistant Professor Political Science Department, Bloomsburg University will speak on “Polarization and the Electoral Process: How Did We Get Here?” LWVLA education Forums are open to both members and the general public; league membership is not required to attend. After the 60 minute program, an optional 30-minute participant discussion session will follow. 

All fall LWVLA Forum meetings will be held via Zoom Video Conference calls to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission. All participants must register in advance. Instructions and unique links will be sent to registrants. To initiate registration, send an email to LWVLAForum [at] gmail.com. The registration deadline is Sunday, October 18.

A custom link to the Zoom meeting and instructions will be emailed to each person who registers. An internet connection and a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone with a camera and microphone are needed to successfully log onto the call.
