Who are the members?
Membership in the League of Women Voters, one of the most respected and effective grassroots organizations in the country, is open to men and women, 16 years and older who support our mission.
Our members make a visible difference by serving as community leaders using their experience to create positive, lasting change in our communities.
Why should I join?
- Become an active learner regarding US government and politics.
- Be involved with participation in candidates nights, voter registration, preparation of the Voters Guide and Facts for Voters, and orchestration of educational forums on topics of interest to citizens.

How much time does it take?
It’s up to you! Since 1954, hundreds of volunteers have served voters in the Lewisburg Area with candidate forums, voter registration, civic education, and advocacy. Whether you contribute your time, your money, or both, you can feel confident that your investment in democracy goes further with the League.
What do I get?
You automatically become a member of LWV Pennsylvania and LWV of the United States. You will receive their publications along with the newsletter from the Lewisburg Area League of Women Voters called League Line which is usually published 7 times each year . You will have the knowledge that you are adding your voice to a powerful force of members from all 50 states, Washington DC and the Virgin Islands.
