Primary elections for Delaware's two major political parties: Democrats and Republicans. Primaries select these party's candidates for the November general election. Polls are open from 7am to 8pm on election day.
Delaware has closed primaries; only registered voters from participating parties may vote for their party's candidates.
Starting in 2022, Delaware will allow 10 days of early, in-person voting for the general and primary elections. The State Election Commissioner has posted early voting locations and times for the primary election.
Also starting in 2002 is Registration to vote, if you have not done so, You can register now on-line or you can register on the day you go to vote - early voting or on election day, September 13 (remembwer to bring ID with you.)
