The LWV of Palo Alto is hosting an upcoming Zoom event "The Road to Democracy Runs Through the Classroom : Preparing the Next Generations of Voters to be Engaged Citizens".  Jennifer DiBrienza and Susie Richardson will explore civic education in the Palo Alto schools and the essential link between what happens in our classrooms and what happens to our democracy. They will also explain the role of Facing History and Ourselves in designing and delivering curricula that prepare students to participate in our democratic society and to stand up to hate.
