Please note that the July Elections Committee meeting will be on the second Tuesday of the month (rather than the usual first Tuesday) to avoid the Independence Day holiday.

The League of Women Voters of Delaware's Election & Voting Portfolio Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month at 11:00am by Zoom web conference.

Committee priorities for 2023 include the following:
    • Vote411 and school board elections
    • Prepare for 2024 elections 
      • Promote early voting
      • Improve voting access for voters with disabilities 
      • Encourage young voters to vote
      • Provide voting access for those incarcerated and eligible to vote, especially those in pre trial status
    • Vote by mail/no excuse absentee voting
    • Same day registration 
    • Support open primaries 
    • Support ranked choice voting
