Update - The Delaware Dept. of Elections announced on March 19th that the April 2, 2024 Presidential Primary in Delaware has been canceled. Only one candidate remains on each party's ballot.

Presidential primary elections for Delaware's two major political parties: Democrats and Republicans. This election helps select these party's candidates in the November general election for the office of U.S. President. Polls are open from 7am to 8pm on election day.

Delaware has closed primaries; only registered voters from participating parties may vote for their party's candidates.

Delaware law also allows 10 days of early, in-person voting for the general and primary elections at selected locations in each county. Refer to the Delaware Department of Elections website for details.
