We had a very engaged audience at the DeLand Library to celebrate Women’s History Month, as members of our Speakers Bureau shared the inspiring stories of the women selected and honored with commemorative quarters. Our speakers made these women come alive.
The League of Women Voters of Volusia County Speakers Bureau will be sharing the inspiring stories of the women selected for the 2024 coins: Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray, Patsy Takemoto Mink, Dr. Mary Edwards Walker, Celia Cruz and Zitkala-Sa. We hope you can join us as we discuss this amazing, inspiring, diverse group of women.
