Early in-person voting for the 2024 general election begins in Delaware on Friday October 25. Per new law passed by the Delaware General Assembly in 2019 (see that year's HB 38), voters in Delaware are allowed to vote in-person at least 10 days before an election, up to and including the Saturday and Sunday immediately before the election at locations determined by the State Election Commissioner.
Delaware's early voting law was challenged in court in 2024, but survived the challenge for this time around as the DE Supreme Court June 2024 Decision found that the filers of the lawsuit lacked standing. Early voting remains available to Delaware voters in 2024.
Per the map shown above, early voting is available at selected sites in each county from 11am to 7pm on October 25 to October 29, and from 7am to 7pm on October 30 to November 3.
