LWVSCDE Members: You're needed at the Sussex LWV's Biennial all-members meeting on Saturday, May 17, from 10:30 am - 1 pm.

The Biennial meeting is especially important to our work -- it's where we elect new Board Officers for the next 2-year term and vote on the 2-year budget. And as at every annual meeting, we'll plan our program for the coming year.

Help us plan our strategy as we respond to the rapidly changing face of government and move toward midterms.

• Hear from LWVSCDE member and President of the Sussex Preservation Coalition Jill Hicks about citizen activism
• Learn about LWVSCDE's work in FY 2025-2025
• Vote on a 2-year budget for FY 2025-2027. 
• Elect officers for FY 2025-2027.
• Vote on changes to our bylaws.
• Plan our 2025-2026 program.

In the process, we will also seek to care for U.S.-- not only for the country, our democracy and the League, but also for one another and ourselves. We’re planning to be inspired, to feel supported, and to have some fun. Artistic members will share their gifts. We will eat nourishing snacks. We will get to know each other a bit better. We will share ways we keep ourselves going. We will have goodie bags, a door prize, and $5 raffle tickets in support of our local League.
