November 3, 2026, Regional Ballot Measures
The Connect Bay Area Transit Initiative (authorized by Senate Bill 63) has officially qualified for the November 3, 2026 ballot across five San Francisco Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara. If approved by voters, it will enact a 14-year sales tax to raise nearly $1 billion annually to prevent deep service cuts and improve regional transit networks.
