This live event reached capacity, then drew standing-room only to the New Smyrna Library on September 17. League board members Pat Drago and Saralee Morrissey were the featured speakers, who each presented detailed information on the items, plus clarified the meaning of Yes/No votes on the eight proposed amendments.  

On the November 3 mid-term ballot, Florida voters will find three amendments to the Florida Constitution, and Volusia voters will consider five amendments to the County Charter. All LWVVC speakers are fully trained on each amendment, and our scheduled presenters did an excellent job, then closed the session with a spirited round of Q&A, followed by dinner at a nearby restaurant to de-brief.
