The League of Women of Women Voters of Lewisburg Area Forum series will continue on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, with a talk by Nick Clark, Professor of Political Science, Susquehanna University, on “Understanding the Election Results”.

League members and the public are invited to attend the presentation.  League Forums will be held this fall from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Public Library for Union County Community Room, 255 Reitz Boulevard, Lewisburg, PA  17837.  Please note, this is a different time and place than in recent years.

Professor Clark grew up in a small town in rural Nebraska.  As a high school debater, he was very excited about subjects related to politics and governance.  He says “I thought very locally (something I still think is important).  I credit my experiences at Hastings College, a small liberal-arts college like Susquehanna, with expanding my horizons.”

Dr. Clark is frequently cited as an expert on elections, public opinion, and current political topics.  He is Professor of Political Science and Director of the Public Policy degree program at Susquehanna University.  He is widely published in his fields with an emphasis on voting behavior and public opinion.  His degrees are from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, Westfalische Wilhelms-Universitat, Munster, Germany, Universiteit Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands, and Hastings College, Hastings, Nebraska.
