Immigration Past, Immigration Present: How to be an active ally

• Carmela Conroy will speak about the history of immigration in the USA.

• Jorge Guerrero, community organizer, will speak about ICE and Border Patrol and their tactics in Spokane County.

• Olga Lucia Herrera, PhD, will present "Standing Beside, Not Behind: Accompanying Immigrants through ICE and USCIS."   

Refreshments provided.

We are also inviting volunteers from organizations that support local immigrant communities, as we all can learn and take action from this training.
