Forums for US Senate and WA Secretary of State October 23
LWV of Washington Education Fund, in partnership with The Spokesman-Review and KSPS PBS, will hold candidate debates for the United States Senate and Secretary of State races in Spokane. Senate candidates Patty Murray and Tiffany Smiley.
The Washington Debate Coalition is also working with the sponsors to ensure there is broad media coverage for this event. Spokane Area League of Women Voters are providing volunteers to staff the event. The candidate forums will be held at the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center on the Gonzaga University campus on October 23, 2022, beginning at 5:00 pm. Admission is free to the public, but tickets must be obtained through this website. (Event is sold out)

The debate will be aired and recorded for viewing by voters throughout the state (see TVW and area public broadcasters for times). KSPS will broadcast the debate live. A recording will be posted on the State League website lwvwa.org.
