Tickets are now on sale for the third annual Defending Democracy Film Festival on March 23! Celebrating International Women's Month, this fundraiser will start at 6 with a reception and raffle with refreshments kindly provided by DiFebo’s restaurant. Proceeds from drinks benefit our partner, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society. The raffle will includes donated items and a 50/50 prize. At 6:30 we will begin our film presentation, a collection of short films reflecting the breadth and influence of women’s experience in contemporary society and culture. Now Accepting Applications for 4 awards of $1,000 each (LWVNCC 2026 Annual Scholarships flier shown)

The New Castle County League is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship program; 4 awards of $1,000 each. This scholarship is for NCC students, either graduating high school seniors or continuing college or vocational students, who submit an essay or video related to good citizenship and civic awareness.

Deadline: Applications must be received by April 1, 2026.

LWVUS is joining No Kings 3 as a national partner on Saturday, March 28th. In Delaware, events are planned in Bethany Beach, Dagsboro, Dover, Lewes, Newark, Milford, Rehoboth Beach and Wilmington. Delaware League members are encouraged to participate in activations with partners on the ground in a nonpartisan manner.
