LWVVC Legislative Team members Clay Meek (Chair), Nancy Vaughn, Vivian Lord, and Nicki Junkins were in Tallahassee this week to participate in the state League's annual lobby days event. We appreciated having the opportunity to meet with Senator Tom Wright and Representatives Leek, McClain,and Tramont to discuss our League Legislative priorities and learn more about their legislative initiatives. The team also attended LWVFL training on effective advocacy practices and observed committee meetings at the capitol.
