LWVVC was well represented at Volusia County's State of the County Luncheon during which the team met our new county council members and learned about last years successes and challenges due to the enormous hurricane damages from Ian and Nicole. Chair Brower asked for all segments of the community to work together to find solutions to the challenges we face and voiced concern over proposed legislation that will tie local goverments' hands in addressing local water quality and growth issues.
