We hope our members are safe and well during this challenging time. Due to the seriousness of the current health situation, the LWVVC Board voted to hold a virtual annual meeting this year rather than the traditional luncheon.

The virtual meeting will take place on Saturday, May 16th from 10:30 – 12:00. During the meeting, members will have the opportunity to vote on the 2020-21 budget (that includes a membership fee increase recommendation), a slate of new officers and directors, and changes to our by-laws. Recommendations related to these items are in the April-May Voter. Members may access the virtual meeting over their computer or phone. For those unfamiliar with the process, we plan to hold a pre-meeting to familiarize participants prior to the actual meeting. 

Members will have an opportunity to ask questions during the meeting, but to facilitate the process members may submit their questions to Nicki Junkins at president [at] lwvvc.org ahead of time. We will respond to all questions during the meeting.

In order to participate in the meeting, it is necessary to register. Please RSVP to Ann Smith at ahsmith5 [at] bellsouth.net by May 9th if you plan to participate. We will send further information with directions for accessing the call to all who indicate their interest in participating. We have important issues to consider and encourage all members to participate. We look forward to being with you on May 16th!
