On January 4th the Education Committee hosted a First Friday Forum: Educating the Whole Child: Creating an Inclusive and Supportive Environment. Forty people attend the event.
In February 2019 the League hosted a First Friday which focused on the significance of local action to address climate change. Speakers included Gary Clayton, President of Mass Audubon, Kate Hanley, Concord Director of Sustainability and Rep. Tami Gouveia of the 14th Middlesex District.

Conservation Award
In its first time competing in the League of Women Voters Civics Bee, the Concord-Carlisle team pulled out a last-minute win to defeat four-time defending champion Wayland by 10 points.
