LWV Greenwich - ENCORE Community Case Discussion with HBS Professor David Moss: James Madison, the “Federal Negative” and the Making of the US Constitution
Adults will join with Greenwich high school students for this intergenerational conversation. We will also be welcoming League members and high school teachers from around the country to participate in the ENCORE Community Case Discussion centered around a pivotal debate at the Constitutional Convention of 1787:
- Should the federal government have veto power over state laws?
- How much power - and what kind of power - should the federal government have over states?
Registration is free and open to members and the public.
