We need your help to fight for fair and free maps!

LWVCT has proposed a bill to create a Task Force to Study Redistricting in Connecticut. Contact the GAE Committee today and urge them to introduce this bill before the February 25 deadline! Despite our advocacy calling for increased transparency, public involvement, and nonpartisanship in the redistricting process, 2021 redistricting was once again completed behind closed doors. We can't go back, but we can take steps now to make sure we don't repeat these mistakes. You can help!

"Lifting as We Climb: Women of Color and Voting Rights" Lecture by Professor Brittney Yancy

Yancy is currently completing her Ph.D. at the University of Connecticut and her current research focuses on 20th century U.S. social movements, urban radicalism, critical race theory, women’s activism, and black women’s political and intellectual history.

The LWV Greenwich is pleased to announce it's Third Annual Student Essay Contest. Rules and topics can be found on the main contest page. Deadline is Sunday, April 3, 2022. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a $1000 college scholarship.
