Our League of Women Voters advocates on many issues that help to strengthen our democracy from voter rights, environmental protection, social and economic justice, health and safety. 

Why it matters?

The League of Women Voters envisions and fosters a democracy where every person has the desire, the right, the knowledge and the confidence to participate.

We promote the issues of the National and Pennsylvania League of Women Voters.

In the past our League has studied:

• Election Law

• Money in Politics

• High Stakes Testing in Education

• Amending the Constitution - Article V Convention

• Delaware County Health Department

What we’re doing?

Currently our League is involved with: 

• An Update of the Delaware County Health Department Study

• Voter Education on the importance of voting machines having paper backup 

• Examining Criminal Justice through seminars and presentations

• Supporting Healthy School Hours and advocating for Later School Start Times

• Election Security
