The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association.
On March 10, 2026 the discussion will be a review of Chapter 2 of 2026 Great Decisions titled The End of an Era: Trump Tariffs in Historical Perspective.

Delaware County Naturalization Ceremony will take place at the Delaware County Courthouse in Media on March 11, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Our League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been invited by the presiding Judge to be present at the naturalization ceremony to give each new citizen a packet of information about voting.

Delco Sustainability

The 5th Annual Delaware County Sustainability Conference to be held on Friday, March 13th, 2026, at Swarthmore College in partnership with the Office of Sustainability at Swarthmore College. Topics will include grassroots sustainability success, data centers, zero waste community action.

The League of Women Voters of Delaware County Environment Committee will participate as a community partner.

Delco Indivisible and HCAN will be holding a Peace Keeper Training on Sunday, March 22 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County, 145 W Rose Tree Rd, Media PA. The event will feature Gene Sharp Training on de-escalation.

This event is offered in preparation for participating in No Kings events which are forecasted to be the largest non-violent protest in U.S. History.

No Kings March 28

No Kings Events will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026. In our County an event hosted by Delco Indivisible is scheduled for 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The rally will feature a march and a gathering at the Delaware County Courthouse in Media. Marchers are being asked to begin assembling at 10:30 AM on Edgemont Street between Front Street and State Street for marching down State Street to Veterans Square and up to the Delaware County Courthouse.

We the people have the power to say - No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. This peaceful event is an opportunity to stand up against hate and authoritarianism.
