Standing Committees work to organize and host ongoing celebrations, gatherings, educational programs and special events that bring members and guests together to socialize and support League goals.

The ability of our members to interact, discuss, de-compress and socialize is an important element of our consensus work. From new member meet-and-greets to annual fundraisers, speaker luncheons to celebratory galas, the Social Committee plans outings and events that help to engage new and current members to get to know each other and to encourage team building.

Education Fund | We make voting easier through varied voter education programs.The League of Women Voters Education Fund conducts voter service and citizen education activities. It is a nonpartisan, nonprofit public policy educational organization, which:

• Builds citizen participation in the democratic process.
• Studies key community issues at all government levels in an unbiased manner.
• Enables people to seek positive solutions to public policy issues through education and conflict management.

Donations to the Education Fund, a 501(c)(3)corporation, are fully tax-deductible where allowed by law.
