In the third event of the "Lunch & Learn" series, the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County will be joined by Wanda Montgomery, who serves as an executive position at Children’s Hospital and the president of the Village of Brown Deer. Wanda is starting a business with an aim to support the empowerment of mothers who share a deep concern about WI being ranked as the worst state for BIPOC and our children. In this event, Wanda will focus on "Empowering mothers and moving forward together."

LWV Milwaukee County's "Lunch and Learn Series" serves to build friendship, address strategies to meet basic human needs, share concerns about poverty & systemic racism that caused our state to be ranked the worst state for Black children and their families. The Fall 2020 theme is "We rise together - meeting basic human needs." These events will occur on the third Tuesday of each month.
