Debra Cronmiller, Executive Director, dcronmiller [at] lwvwi.org
Before serving in this role, Debra (she/her) worked in State government in the Department of Workforce Development and the Department of Children and Families. She started her career in nonprofit management assisting adults with disabilities to enter the workforce and provide shelter and services to people experiencing homelessness. She is currently a director on the Community Shares of Wisconsin Board. Debra is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Eileen Newcomer, Deputy Director
Eileen (she/her) manages LWVWI’s nationally recognized election observation program, manages LWVWI’s voter education efforts, and supports local Leagues in their voter service work. She has nearly ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector and earned her master’s degree in Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. When not working, she spends her time with family and friends, traveling, and volunteering in her community.
Amanda Peterson, Voter Services Manager
Amanda (she/her) comes from a strong background of grassroots organizing and civic participation. She has been a trustee in the Village of Oregon for 8 years and a poll worker for over a decade. Previously, she has been a freelance editor, worked for the Fair Maps Coalition, and volunteered with many community groups. She earned a degree in Spanish from Gustavus Adolphus College. In her free time, she enjoys many hobbies, including juggling, playing ukulele, and reading.
Brandi Suryn, Membership & Events Manager
Brandi (she/her) has a background in nonprofit finance and administration. She has a degree in Communication and is also a certified Yoga Instructor. Brandi loves to read, is a plant and pollinator enthusiast, and enjoys spending her free time in creative spaces. Her interest in the League stems from her enthusiasm regarding civil rights advocacy and providing equal opportunity for all.
Anastasia Soluna, Administrative Assistant/Legislative Coordinator
Anastasia (she/they) supports the operations all over LWVWI. A lifetime Wisconsin voter, she strives to be an engaged participant in our democracy. They have a degree in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and certification in data analytics. When not working, Anastasia loves exploring Wisconsin's natural resources with their 5-year-old, reading as much as they can, and recharging with art.
Kole Torres, DEI Manager
Kole (she/her) has a passion for promoting diversity and inclusion and has devoted much time and energy into it throughout her undergraduate experience and as a working professional. Her goal has always been to promote cultural awareness and celebrate diversity through programming and training initiatives. She received my BA in History and Philosophy and her MA in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies. Kole has been working in higher education since 2013 in various roles within Multicultural Student Services, Residence Life, and Student Life in the states of Illinois and Wisconsin.
Kole was born in Chicago, Illinois, but spent a lot of time traveling to Puerto Rico, where she has family. She's a first generation college student and loves going to museums, learning about different cultures and trying new foods.
Sinceree Dixon, Communications Manager
As a lifelong Milwaukeean, Sinceree (she/her) is a proud graduate of UW-Milwaukee, where she earned her degree in Sociology. She brings a strong background in community organizing and activism which fuels her commitment to equity, civic engagement, and amplifying underrepresented voices. Her commitment to activism is further strengthened by her heritage and lived experience as a Black and Indigenous woman. Sinceree is an enrolled member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe. Her cultural roots inspire her advocacy for marginalized communities and her dedication to defending our democracy with purpose and passion.
