On April 14, the League of Women Voters of the La Crosse Area is sponsoring an event with Leader Ethics - Wisconsin to discuss ways voters can contribute to fixing politics. Author Katherine Gehl, co-author of the book The Politics Industry: How Political Innovation Can Break Partisan Gridlock and Save Our Democracy, and co-founder of Democracy Found, a Wisconsin-based nonpartisan organization which advocates for Final Five Voting, will discuss her book and advoacy with attendees. The conversation will be moderated by Rusty Cunningham, the former executive editor of the La Cross Tribune.
