Wisconsin’s Inland Waterways Report Card grade is a C- (between mediocre & poor) and Ports Report Card Grade is a C+ (between good and mediocre).

In July 2021, the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin held a category meeting on the inland waterways and ports infrastructure in Wisconsin. The League Was joined by Carl Sutter, P.E., the director of the American Society of Civil Engineers - WI Section, who will presented on inland waterways, and Kyle Bareither, P.E., the ports lead author, who presented on that category. Michael Schwar, the inland waterways lead author, was also available for questions and answers.
