The Wake County League's Women's Equality Day gala will be held on August 18, 2022, 5:30-7:00 pm, at All Faiths Chapel at Dorthea Dix Park, Raleigh. The theme this year is "Power of Pearls... And The Women Who Wear Them."
Janet Cowell, former NC state treasurer, state senator, and current CEO of Dix Park Conservancy, will be the keynote speaker. During the event, women elected officials in Wake County will be recognized. In addition, this event is the Wake County League's major fundraising event of the year.
