Become a Member of the League
Our volunteers work year-round to register new voters, host community forums and debates, and provide voters with election information they need. We engage at the local and state levels on legislative priorities and efforts to improve our elections and protect our democracy.
When you join a local League chapter in North Carolina, you will automatically become a member of the League of Women Voters of North Carolina (LWVNC) and the national League of Women Voters (LWV). Check below for a list of local League chapters with links to their pages to “join.”
Our members are passionate activists who support our work in all 50 states and in more than 700 communities.
Read LWVNC bylaws and other resources related to membership.
