The Hot Topic - Health Care Fraud Costs Us All, and Not Just Money will be presented on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Noon via Zoom.

Join us for a presentation by Jodine Mayberry, journalist, on the real and hidden costs of healthcare fraud in the United States. Jodine will take you on a tour of the largest, most costly and most harmful health care frauds in recent years and explain the real and hidden costs of defrauding Medicare, Medicaid, private insurers and the patients and beneficiaries themselves. 

She will also tell you how you can protect yourself from health care fraud and share important and helpful resources related to the Hot Topic.

Presenter: Jodine Mayberry is a journalist who covered health care fraud prosecutions by federal and state law enforcement for eight years for Westlaw, the nation’s largest legal publisher. Jodine is also a League of Women Voters (LWV) member and Chair of the LWV of Central Delaware County Legislative Advocacy Committee.
