The League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County is hosting a Virtual Watch Party on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM to view the webinar League of Women Voters and America's Libraries: Partners to Count On. We will convene on Zoom to watch the hour-long webinar and then remain on Zoom to discuss what we heard and how libraries and our League can be part of a nonpartisan rapid response network to engage, inform, and empower voters.
From local ballot issues to national races, voters count on nonpartisan, trusted sources of information to register, prepare for, and participate in elections. As organizations with longstanding commitments to civic engagement and presence in communities across the country, the American Library Association (ALA) and the League of Women Voters (LWV) are joining forces to engage, inform, and empower voters. Hear from local League members and librarians who already collaborate on a variety of programs and activities, and learn how you can team up in your community. New resources and opportunities for greater collaborative impact in 2024 and beyond will be shared.
This is a free webinar and part of the League of Women Voters Rapid Response Initiative. To register to receive the Watch Party Zoom link CLICK HERE .
