Economic Development Successes and Strategies
The presentation will focus on who and what accounts for most of the economic development activity in our County. Business recruitment as well as business retention and expansion are key focuses of the two most significant players in economic development activity in Volusia County. The panelists for this event will represent three different organizations: the county’s Economic Development Department, the public-private Team Volusia Economic Development Corporation, and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University’s Research Park.
The panelists are as follows:
Sans Lassiter, PE, Chairman, Team Volusia Economic Development Corporation
Tywan Arrington, Director of Business Development, Team Volusia EDC
Lou Paris, Economic Development Director, County of Volusia
Dr. Ronnie Mack, Director of Research Park Operations, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Following the presentation there will be an optional dinner held at The Half Wall, located at 3770 S Nova Rd in Port Orange.
