U.S. 5th Congressional District Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon is holding a Town Hall at Widener University, Saturday, January 24 at 2 p.m., where she intends to discuss concerns that the Trump Administration continues to escalate ICE’s presence in our communities, ignore Constitutional checks and balances, and risk entangling the US in foreign wars.

She says she is determined to keep open lines of communication with her constituents, which includes the entire population of Delaware County, and shed light on what is happening in Washington, DC.

The location of the Town Hall on the Widener University Campus is the Alumni Auditorium, 1410-1490 Providence Avenue, Chester,  PA 19013.

Advance registration is required. Once the venue has reached capacity, no additional attendees will be admitted.

RSVP here or contact the Chester office at (610) 626-2020.

NOTE: Doors open at 1:30 PM Parking: Street parking and university lots are available; specific details, including a map, will be emailed to attendees prior to the event.

LWV Disclaimer: In ordinary times, the nonpartisan League of Women Voters would not be promoting a town hall by a partisan politician, but these are not ordinary times. The League of Women Voters of the United States declared last May that we are in a constitutional crisis and launched Unite and Rise 8.5 to recruit 8.5 million voters to oppose the regime.

The public has been clamoring for action from Congress and we look to our local elected officials for answers. This is a chance to get some.
