Join the League of Women Voters of North Carolina’s Citizen Initiative (CI) Action Team for a statewide Zoom session to learn more about the Citizen Initiative process and how it works as a tool of direct democracy.

Following the LWVNC Convention’s approval to add Initiative and Referendum to League policy, the CI Action Team has been presenting to local Leagues across the state. This session offers one final opportunity for members and supporters who missed earlier presentations to learn more and ask questions.

Citizen Initiative allows citizens to propose statutory or constitutional changes by collecting signatures to place a measure on the ballot.
