The Policing Practices Working Group of LWVNC recently conducted a five-part virtual program examining the interaction of communities with law enforcement called “Our Community, Our Police.”
The Policing Practices Working Group will now report on what has been learned and gauge interest in proposing a statewide study for adoption by the delegates of the LWVNC Convention in 2021. LWVNC public policy positions are reached by the consensus or concurrence process often involving study of the issues by the statewide membership.
