June 21, 2022 – In a near unanimous vote earlier this month, the NC Senate passed a Medicaid Expansion bill, which will be going to the NC House of Representatives for a vote. Prospects are favorable that North Carolina will finally accept federal dollars to extend health care to more than 600,000 of our lower-income citizens. The bill would also benefit residents statewide by making it easier and less expensive to get treatment. Currently, it is unclear when the NC House will vote on this bill. 

We are asking you to contact your NC House member and ask them to support Medicaid Expansion. Let them know – it is time to pass a North Carolina solution to close the Medicaid coverage gap!
