The League of Women Voters of Dare County is marking the 102nd Women's Equality Day at Sanctuary Vineyards with appetizers and a cash wine bar ($5) from 4 to 6 p.m. at Sanctuary Vineyards in Jarvisburg. Each attendee is asked to speak for three minutes on a chosen woman, offering facts not commonly known about their "shero." Make them come alive, summoning their spirits to strengthen our own.
