Start the fiscal year off right with this session that's all about resources that are available at the national and state level that local leagues can utilize to communicate with members – and potential new members – more effectively.
Let's take a look at materials/resources such as national's Flickr account, various available templates (such as one for business cards), evergreen videos and other content that can populate your social media feeds as needed – in short, all you need to help you start the year off on the right foot.
Over the next months and years, communicating with members and the public will be crucial. As we've seen in other states, we face the prospect of additional challenges to voters' rights and tactics designed to limit access to the ballot box. To say nothing of other legislation that threatens free speech and reproductive rights, for example. Our messages and calls to action will be more important than ever as we work to protect voter rights and fight legislation that infringes on citizens' rights. As a result, we need an overflowing toolbox to help us get the word out.
