• What: Advocate for fair voting maps with other Leaguers!

• When: All day April 29th

• How: Register for a Postcarding Party or a Tweetstorm Party, or sign up to get action alerts. You don’t have to attend a virtual party to participate. Action Alerts will give you all the information you need to advocate on your own.

• Who: Any League member in North Carolina is welcome to join us for these events.

LWV-Wake will join LWVUS and local leagues across the country to shine a light on the redistricting process and demand fair maps. Join us as we write postcards and use Twitter to advocate for a fair and transparent redistricting process in 2021! (These events are open to any League member in North Carolina.)

VIRTUAL POSTCARDING PARTY - Send postcards to legislators demanding a fair, transparent redistricting process. The Postcarding Party will be at 11:00am-1:00pm. Drop in any time during the party for ideas or just to chat while you work! We will provide talking points and addresses via email Action Alerts and on our website. TWEETSTORM PARTIES - Participate in our tweetstorm! Stop in to get help, ideas for tweets, or to work with others. We will provide specific instructions in an Action Alert, but the first step is to follow us on Twitter (@lwvwake). We will host two tweetstorm parties—one at 10:00am and another at 5:30pm.
