UPDATE REGARDING THE NC SPECIALTY LICENSE PLATE INITIATIVE

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to suspend this project. While we deeply value the enthusiasm and support this initiative received, we were unable to meet the threshold of support required to continue. 

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you who supported this endeavor by signing on and contributing an application fee. Your commitment to elevating the League's visibility and mission in North Carolina is encouraging.

As we wind down this project, we want to offer you the following options for your application fee:

  1. Request a Refund: If you would like your application fee returned, please let us know by February 14, 2025.

  2. Donate Your Fee: If you wish to redirect your application fee to support LWVNC’s ongoing work advocating for voting rights, civic education, and democracy, we would be deeply grateful.

Thank you for your continued dedication to the League’s mission. Though this project is paused, we remain steadfast in our commitment to empowering voters and defending democracy.
