Deaf-Hearing Communication Centre

The League of Women Voters of Central Delaware Delaware has been invited by the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania State Association of the Deaf (PSDA) to conduct a workshop on the voting process. The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, September 21 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Deaf-Hearing Communication Centre (DHCC), 630 Fairview Road, Swarthmore PA.

As a longtime Delaware County poll worker and member of the League of Women Voters, I laughed when I read House Republican leader Bryan Cutler’s comment that 73% of the people support voter ID while (only) 50% support earlier pre-canvassing of mail-in ballots.

The League of Women Voters of the United States adopted the following resolution, proposed by Radnor LWV Member Roberta Winters in June 2022, declaring climate change a national and international emergency. We are calling on League members and others to ask their local governments to adopt this resolution.
