Assembly bills in play

Contact your legislator and raise your voice to advance the bi-partisan redistricting legislation currently pending in the PA State Assembly.

  • HB 22 would amend the PA Constitution to create an independent redistricting commission for both congressional and legislative redistricting.
  • HB 23 would create an independent commission just for congressional redistricting.

Senate bills coming

In Mid-November Senators Lisa Boscola and Tom Killion agreed to introduce Senate versions of House Bills 22 and 23. Senator Killion (R, District 9, Chester and Delaware Counties) has reserved the number SB 1023 and is circulating the co-sponsor memo for a bill to change the election code. Senator Boscola (D, District 18, Lehigh and Northampton Counties) has reserved SB 1022 and is circulating the co-sponsor memo for a constitutional amendment, modeled on the bills she pioneered across the past two legislative sessions. We will post these bills when they are introduced. The Senate bills are expected to be substantially the same as the Assembly bills.
