The Radnor Township Memorial Day Parade Committee, has invited the League of Women Voters of Delaware County ILO to march in this year's Memorial Day Parade is Monday, May 25. The Parade will kick off at 9:45 AM rain or shine.
The Radnor Township Memorial Day Parade is held each year on Memorial Day — the last Monday in May — to honor the Americans who gave their lives in service to the United States. The parade, a rain or shine, concludes with a brief Memorial Ceremony at the corner of Runnymede and South Wayne Avenues.
Active and retired military personnel, veterans’ organizations, scouts, civic groups, first responders, and antique car enthusiasts all take part.
Members of the League of Women Voters of Radnor Township and League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County will march as a unit and carry signs that reflect the mission of the LWV to defend democracy and our Constitutional Rights.
Since the signs will be supplied by the LWV and in order to determine the size of the group to help parade organizers assign us our place in the parade route please register your interest in participating. Family members and Friends are welcome to march.
Parade details will be emailed to all those that register.
