Join CeaseFirePA  and its dozens of partners, including the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania and our League at the End Gun Violence: PA Advocacy Day rally and lobby day in Harrisburg, Tuesday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to demand action on gun safety bills.

Event Timeline:

• 9:00 - 9:30 AM:  Arrive in Harrisburg, Check-In
• 10:00 - 11:45 AM:  Advocacy Meetings & Drop-Bys with Legislative Offices (meetings scheduled on your behalf)
• 12:00 - 1:00 PM:  End Gun Violence Rally/Press Event on the Front Steps of the Capitol (tentative timing)
• 3:30 PM:  Buses Depart

Lobby for the following Legislation:

• House Bill 1018 would create a process by which firearms could be removed from at-risk individuals.
• House Bill 714 would provide for increased background checks when purchasing firearms in PA.
• House Bill 777 would ban ghost guns (made on 3-D printers).

The Bills are now stuck in the PA Senate Judiciary Committee with no sign of movement. Let your voice be heard.
