League member, Rosemarie Halt, long insisted that DELCO required its own public health department. She led the advocacy on behalf of Delaware County Leagues for decades. Recently, she was appointed by County Council to assist in the emergency response to COVID-19 and steward the formation of a county-wide health department.

Come learn first-hand about the current status of the County's response to this pandemic and what the future holds regarding the establishment of a modern, nimble and locally controlled health department for Delaware County.
