The Hot Topic: Election Security in Delaware County will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Noon via Zoom. The League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County and the League of Women Voters of Delaware County have invited James P.  Allen, Director of Election Operations for Delaware County to discuss the county’s Election Department (the Election Bureau, Voter Registration and Voting Machines), the recruiting and training of poll workers, process of printing ballots for the new voting machines, the mail-in ballot process and any changes in the state’s election laws ahead of the November municipal election. 

He is new to Delaware County, after having been recruited from Chicago, but he is not new to working with the League of Women Voters and we hope to work with him to help ensure a free, fair and secure election for the foreseeable future.
