The League of Women Voters Central Delaware County is hosting a Hot Topic Discussion on Friday, June 5 at 12:00 PM (Noon) via Zoom Video Conference. Roberta Winters, President of the Radnor LWV will be the speaker on pipelines and environmental Issues close to home.

Roberta has been working on sustainability and environmental justice for decades with the League and with local community groups. With an undergraduate degree in biology and years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher, Roberta Winters connects the dots between what is happening on the ground in Delaware County with its implications for our future.

Join us as Roberta helps us understand some of the current issues from pipelines and natural gas operations to Covanta, Delcora, and our Delware River Basin. Find out how all these issues relate to our public health and environmental justice as well as what you can do about them!
