The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book  resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association. The topic for March 12, 2024 is Climate Technology and Competition which reviews the following questions: Will the United States and China, with other powerful countries following suit, approach current and future climate initiatives with an increased commitment to trade protectionism and nationalism, by various measures including trade restrictions? Or could a growing spirit of international accord develop to confront the “common enemy” of climate change?

The March 12, 2024 discussion will be held at 12:30 PM at Wesley Enhanced Living 100 Halcyon Drive, Media, 19063 in their Art Room. If you wish, attendees can bring a bag lunch or purchase food at the Bistro Cafe located at the facility.
