The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association. 

The January 13, 2026 discussion will be held at 12:30 PM at 6 Michele Drive, Media, 19063.  The discussion will be a review of the topics for 2026 and the order of discussion going forward. 

The Great Decisions Topics for 2026 are:

• America and the World: Trump 2.0 Foreign Policy: Examining an "America First" approach and its risks.

• Trump Tariffs and the Future of the World Economy: Analyzing the impact of aggressive trade policies.

• U.S.-China Relations: Strategic options amid rising tensions.

• Ukraine and the Future of European Security: Europe's strategic dilemma with potential reduced U.S. involvement in NATO.

• Multilateral Institutions in a Changing World Order: The survival of global cooperation amid nationalism.

• U.S. Engagement of Africa: Strengthening ties with a growing geopolitical region.

• The Future of Human Rights and International Law: Assessing the international legal framework.
